Enterprise Product Manager

Our goal is to achieve Artificial General Intelligence by teaching machines to think, reason, and communicate. We’re an early leader in using deep learning to solve language-understanding problems and in training machines to model the decision-making capabilities of the human brain. Based in Montréal, a global hub for AI, our team brings together experts in various machine-learning domains: deep learning, reinforcement learning, NLP, machine reading, computational linguistics and more.  

As a member of the Applied Product Management group, you will work on building and releasing products that rely on capabilities in machine reading, question answering, conversational understanding and language. This is a unique opportunity to change the way machines learn to understand and reason upon unstructured text and conversational logs. Your work has the potential to power products and services that may be used by millions of users. To be successful in this role you must be a self-starter; this is a position that requires proactivity and wearing many hats as you push a product agenda forward. You are driven to deliver best in class solutions aren’t afraid to jump in and lead. You come from a product management background with experience in shipping products and have a solid understanding of artificial intelligence and machine learning.

This position will be based in Montreal, QC.

 

Responsibilities

In this role you will:

  • Develop detailed product roadmap and strategy for Maluuba's platform, based from usability studies, research and market analysis
  • Develop robust product specifications for engineering teams to follow
  • Ensure product developed meets specifications and is delivered on time to customers

 

Minimum Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • 2+ years Product Management experience
  • An undergraduate degree in Computer Science or related technical field
  • Working knowledge of Artificial Intelligence and machine learning
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills
  • Exceptional organizational and analytical skills
  • A solid understanding of the technical architecture of complex and highly scalable solutions
  • The ability to develop use case scenarios and intuitive user interfaces from customer discussions
  • Experience in self‐service or chat based customer experience product would be an asset
